Is the contest international?
Yes, the contest is open to residents of all countries.
Is the contest Open to students?
Yes, the contest is open to students. When you submit your design, don’t forget to tell us part of which learning institution you are, or just write the name of your school!
What resources can I use for design?
You can use any custom resources, alphas, materials, decals, 3D models, and others. You can import resources from other software as well, or simply do everything by sketching.

how does the voting process look like?
In the 1st round, ALOHAS shall proceed to review the applications based on all the terms and conditions provided by the candidate to study their admissibility and completeness. Any incomplete application, submitted late, or that contains false or misleading information, shall be declared inadmissible, with the organizer having no obligation to inform the concerned candidate of this fact, and without the candidate whose file was discarded being entitled to any indemnification; this is applicable at any stage of the process of granting the prizes.
At that point, the voting period begins, during which you will be collecting votes and feedback on a public voting platform we created for you.
The top 10 submissions will be picked based on the number of votes.
Those will then go to the next round to our expert judges (who will be announced in the mid of January) who will decide the top 3 winners during the LIVE streamed event!
When and where will your announce the winners?
We will announce the winners on the 23rd of May, 2023! They will be announced during the LIVE EVENT on our Instagram page ALOHAS!
Can I use any other already existing design ideas?
Each copyright owner has a different policy regarding the usage of their IPs, therefore we are unable to give suggestions or recommendations regarding this matter. If you take inspiration or use some elements from other copyright owners, keep in mind that we ask you to obtain permission from the copyright holder to submit the entries on their behalf. A copy of such permission must be supplied to the organizer on request.
Can I submit several submissions/applications?
We will only accept one submission (a single design idea) per artist. If you happen to submit more than one, we will take the latest one. But we ask you to play a fair game and respect this rule.
Am I limited in the number of sketches I submit?
On the submission form, you can upload up to five files. We request the submission of only one design idea, but it can be in different color variants (up to five colors). Four files are mandatory, the fifth one is optional. It’s also allowed to submit only one color variant. In this case, upload the duplicate files.
What if I want to showcase my idea on a video render?
On a submission form, you have the option to upload a video recording. Feel free to show us your idea as a video render, but we still request you upload files as images. Sending us a video won’t give you more points, but it’s definitely a nice addition for our judges!
Is it possible to share my work on social media?
You are definitely encouraged to do so! If you share your work with your friends and family, remember to hashtag #Alohas3d so we can spot you! Join us also in the ALOHAS COMMUNITY (3D DESIGN CONTEST channel) where you can meet other members and participants!
Is it free of charge to join the contest?
No purchase or payment of any kind is needed to join the contest.
